Professional tuition will make your riding experience safer and more enjoyable.
WHAT WILL BE COVERED?
Scooter anatomy – introduction to the machine, essential controls and set up, handling the scooter properly and safely, daily safety checks.
Riding equipment, posture, mirror and machine set up and blind spot checking.
Moving off and stopping smoothly, safely and positively.
Slow control of the scooter and low speed manoeuvring.
Correct safe cornering technique – from gentle bends to tight intersections.
Correct safe braking technique – from general to emergency braking.
Roadcraft – how to stay safe in a traffic system designed for larger faster vehicles and understand road law as it applies specifically to scooters (and motorcycles).
WHO ARE WE?
We have been providing scooter specific pre-licence and safety training for more than a decade for Government and commercial organisations such as The Botanical Parks and Gardens Authority (King’s Park) and Australia Post as well as for private students.
We ride and enjoy scooters daily in our work. We have a fleet of six 50cc (RN) and five scooters for RE (up to 250cc) for student use so we have a scooter that will suit your particular needs.

WHEN?
9:00am on Sunday mornings for approx. 3.5 to 4 hours.
HOW MUCH?
$195 for 4hrs tuition (incl. scooter normally $240!).
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Long sleeved shirt or jacket, long trousers, covered shoes or boots. We can provide helmets and wet weather gear if needed.
